Throughout our series of guests, we welcome Chris Ablaza to the show. Chris was born and raised in Long Island, New York, and has lived in places like Boston and Washington D.C ever since. Four years ago, he made his greatest decision by moving to Texas; no need to worry though, he's one of the good guys.
Chris is a man of many talents, although, many of those coming from behind a camera. His eye for this craft speaks for itself and the podcast was thrilled to have him on to talk more about it.
Throughout episode 55, Chris and the guys talk about some of the basics with photography and how the average person can find success with it. He explains how to utilize your cell phone as a solid resource to take good pictures. As a lover of street photography, he also talks about some of the cool spots in and around Dallas for photoshoots to liven up your social media channels.
Then, Chris tells us about how The Donut Ambassadors account was created. Although, he isn't a fan of donuts themselves, he is half of the operations. They are incredible influencers to the DFW foodie community, of course especially when it comes to donuts. The guys breakdown the top places to get craft donuts in DFW and even the donut to order from each place. Yes, your mouth will be watering and you'll quickly find yourself with a donut in your hand after listening to this conversation.
It's an episode you will not want to miss. Chris is an incredible human doing numerous, incredible things not only within the DFW metroplex, but for it as well. You need to follow and get to know him!

The legend, Phil Collins bids emotional farewell at his final concert. That's right, sadly, the insane drum solos are gone forever. Are there more doors or wheels in the world? Speaking of doors, it's the 25th anniversary of the release of Titanic. The guys resurface the debatable topic: did Jack have room alongside Rose on the door?

Throughout our series of guests, we welcome Preston Osborn to the show. Preston was born and raised in Dallas, attended SMU to study law and has remained here ever since. He is a soccer fanatic and a beer connoisseur, so he decided, why not start a business surrounding it all?
Crossbar Soccer + Beer was founded and established in the height of the pandemic. Ever since it has come into fruition, it has been a destination for beer and soccer lovers, but beyond that, people that simply enjoy a good time. Crossbar has plenty of ways to kickback or kick around. Every weeknight and weekend you can break a sweat in a 5v5 open pickup soccer match. Make a team to run the table in our Women’s, Men’s, and Coed indoor leagues, or show off your skills in a FIFA tournament. Grab a beer with some friends or make some new ones - all games (or even Ted Lasso) will be streamed on our TV and projector screens in real time.
Throughout episode 52, Preston and the guys discuss what it's like to start your own business today in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He explains the history of Crossbar and how it started as an idea and birthed into a thriving soccer destination. This is only the beginning though, there are big plans in store, so make sure you follow along and check it all out for yourself.
Then, the guys chat about the underrated craft beer scene that the DFW area possess. Preston confidently compares it to places like Denver and Seattle and says Dallas truly can have its own pedestal. Speaking of stories, Preston shares about a trip he took to England where he got to see his favorite team, Liverpool play live.
